Yes, your data is secure, it can be stored on your own servers (on-premise), or on Ubudu's RGPD compliant servers hosted in Europe.

How does RTLS work?

RTLS (Real-Time Location System) works with small battery-powered tags attached to moving assets that exchange radio signals (UWB, BLE, LoRa) with fixed anchors. This data is then sent to a server where a location engine computes a position and displays it on a map with an accuracy between 30cm to several meters depending on the technology used.
